Back in the saddle

I’m back in the saddle again. The saddle being a bar stool at a cafe. It’s about 11am and I am not at work. I’m taking some time off after a 3 stressful 9-5ish jobs.

Firstly, there are a lot of STRANGE people milling about between 9-5ish, when I’ve been at work. I forgot about that world, the world night jobs, disability, unemployment, trust funds, homelessness, freelancers, travelers, retirees, etc.

The most obvious different between these two groups is that the 9-5ish-ers definitely look more homogonous. These folks I’m with now look much more varied, from rich, to buffed, to business, to bum, to obese, to hick, to slick.
